Born in Lubbock, Texas, in 1969, Brian and Chad Carter, owners of B & C Fence, are proud graduates of LISD and Texas Tech University. In 1985, they started B & C Lawn and Landscape. Both secured a B.S. in Horticulture while maintaining their business, and after graduation chose to remain in their hometown and advance the company. As the company grew, they added fence construction to their repertoire. They were fortunate enough to secure relationships with great builders such as Dan Wilson, Clearview Homes, Robert Wood, Trey Strong, Jordan Wheatley, Shane Salyer, and many more.
Since 1998 they have added a strong crew of employees with years of experience – many of them Tech students and graduates – and take pride in the level of expertise and work ethic of their employees. However, as owners and operators, Brian and Chad are still very hands-
What sets B & C Fence, Inc. apart from other fence contractors is that we believe in doing it right and doing it with quality the first time. We use only the highest quality materials: schedule 40 poles, metal frame gates, and Western Red cedar pickets. Most new construction includes concrete footing and cedar cap, and we offer various options for those interested in a unique look that compliments the home, such as brick or stone columns, board on board, horizontal pickets, wrought iron gates and accents, pergolas, and so much more.
Both owners of B & C take a vested interest in the Lubbock community, serving in their local churches, volunteering for various charities, and supporting their Red Raiders. Chad is married to Holly Carter and they have three children in the Lubbock Cooper school district. Brian and his wife Angela have two children in Lubbock ISD. All are committed to maintaining the quality reputation of B & C Fence.
